PET: Pile Echo Tester
Pile Integrity Test (PIT) Equipment for Pulse Echo Testing
Overview
The PET (Pile Echo Tester) uses the Pulse-Echo method (PEM) to conduct quick and reliable pile integrity tests (PIT) on sites with a large number of piles. It is an ideal pile integrity test equipment solution for low strain pile testing, fully compliant with ASTM D5882 standards for the integrity test for pile foundation projects.
A PIT test starts when the pile top is struck with a lightweight handheld hammer. The PET’s digital accelerometer captures and analyzes the reflected wave, providing essential information regarding the length and shape of the pile. This makes the PET perfect for performing an integrity test for pile foundation to ensure structural soundness.
